Our 2022 CSR Report is here

At Kings of Indigo, we believe that clothing should commit to creating high-quality, timeless garments that are well made in the broadest sense. As we proudly present our 2022 CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) report, we invite you to join us on our journey towards a more sustainable and circular future.

Dive into our full report here, or discover the short version over here.

Let's kick it off with a note from our Queen of CSR: Nikki Bosboom

"I joined Kings Of Indigo little over a year ago, in March 2022. My personal journey towards sustainable fashion started around the same time that the company was founded. It was one of the first brands on my radar. So, you can imagine how cool it is to now actually be part of the team myself and contribute to the sustainability efforts.

For 2023, we will of course be reflecting on all our past efforts, after the recent restart. My personal biggest goal is moving Kings Of Indigo in a more circular direction for the future, and being transparent along the way, sharing more of our journey. I’m looking forward to tackling some exciting challenges, together with the team."

Designing for Durability and Lifetime Extension
One of the cornerstones of our brand philosophy is to craft garments that are not only stylish but also built to last. We take pride in using durable materials and timeless designs that transcend seasons, eliminating the need for frequent replacements. By doing so, we empower our conscious consumers to make thoughtful choices that contribute to the durability of their Kings of Indigo pieces.

Embracing a Circular Economy
We are dedicated to driving change and reshaping the fashion industry by embracing the principles of a circular economy. Our commitment to low-impact materials and processes ensures that our products are designed with sustainability in mind. Furthermore, when the time eventually comes for our garments to retire, we have made it a priority to ensure they can be easily recycled with minimal degradation. This circular approach minimizes waste and maximizes resource efficiency, bringing us one step closer to a more sustainable future.

Building Sustainable Relationships
At Kings of Indigo, we understand that sustainability goes beyond the physical product. It encompasses the entire supply chain. That's why we place a strong emphasis on building long-term relationships with our suppliers who share our values. Each of our suppliers undergoes a thorough social audit, guaranteeing fair practices and ethical treatment of workers. Transparency is the backbone of our strategy, enabling us to gain insights into our impact, identify risk factors, and prioritize our actions accordingly. By nurturing these relationships, we ensure that every step of our production process aligns with our sustainability goals.

Continuous Improvement and Future Goals
Our 2022 CSR report not only showcases our achievements but also highlights areas where we strive for continuous improvement. We understand that sustainability is an ongoing journey, and we are committed to constantly challenging ourselves to do better. Our report outlines our key learnings, new initiatives, and future goals, providing a roadmap for our sustainability strategy.

As we present our 2022 CSR report, we invite you to explore the strides we have made in our pursuit of a more sustainable and circular fashion industry. Kings of Indigo remains steadfast in its commitment to crafting durable, timeless garments, fostering transparent relationships, and driving change through innovation. Together, let us embrace the possibilities of a sustainable future, where fashion and responsibility go hand in hand.
